So what is this screen printing thing?
Screen printing is the process of 'pushing' ink through a fine mesh onto a garment or other surface. The mesh is stretched very tightly onto a frame and then a stencil (or positive) is used to transfer the design onto the mesh which then forms the screen for printing. When screen printing, each colour is applied separately and requires a different screen. Once all the screens are made, they are loaded onto a printing carousel and we then spend time to ensure each screen lines up correctly with all the other, this is called registering the screens. We then print your order, quality check and clean up.
In the days of 'digital' direct to garment printing, screen printing still remains the best for quality, longevity and vibrancy.
Our standard inks are 100% PVC-free, phthalate-free and lead-free and environmentally friendly. They are Nike RSL Certified, Oeko-Tex 100 Compliant and REACH Approved. Mixed to any colour, Pantone matching and mixed to order.
We produce all artwork proofs, positives and screens in house for end-to-end quality control. We only charge for the original screen setup, no re-screen or repeat setup costs of follow-on orders!
No job is impossible thanks to a full range of high quality printing equipment, techniques, garments and the skill of our experienced team.
We take great pride in the quality of our work and enabling our clients to show-off their brand and ideas to their best.
